A Sound Education Budget

Why I show up to vote and your readers should, too, on Wednesday, May 11: I have three children thriving in our Clinton school system. That alone should make us vote “Yes” for a sound education budget.

I have one child in high school who is an honors student, active in track, and brilliant in school plays. I have a second child finishing middle school who has excelled so much in a sport that she has been identified and offered a unique educational opportunity. I have a third child in elementary school who is so confident in who she is, she could take on the best either of her siblings has to offer.

Clinton Public Schools has brought out, and supported, the uniqueness in each of my children. Our teachers are dedicated and nurture and challenge them. I love everything that my children have been encouraged to try. Yes, I show up to vote because it is important for everyone in our town.
