12/30/2015 07:00 AMThe Connecticut State Police, Troop F Westbrook Barracks held a holiday toy drive for the Christmas holiday season in which we received an overwhelming amount of support from so many generous citizens throughout the Troop F patrol area. The thousands of new, unwrapped toys we received at the barracks were distributed to the towns patrolled by the Troop F barracks through the individual town social service offices. I was truly amazed by the generosity and positive spirit of so many people who took the time to purchase and donate these toys so that so many children would have a happy holiday this year. I would like to thank everyone who participated and donated toys to this very worthy cause and wish everyone a safe holiday season.
