The Tools and Resources Needed

Election day is just two weeks away. Westbrook residents will be going to the polls to decide only one contested race: seats for the Board of Education. This election will impact the make-up of the board for years to come. With that said, I am proudly voting for and putting my support behind Mary Ella Luft and Zack Hayden. Mary Ella is a proud parent of Westbrook Public School graduates and understands the importance of providing Westbrook students with the tools and resources needed to be successful, not only in the classroom, but wherever life will take our students.

I had the pleasure of coaching with Zack for his young daughter’s Little League team. As a parent with children currently in Westbrook’s school district and a dean of faculty and English teacher at The Oxford Academy, Zack understands the importance of providing a quality educational experience to both students and faculty. Zack will ensure that Westbrook schools will provide the best possible education for our students and enable the faculty to help our students meet and exceed the ever changing educational requirements at both the state and federal level.

I encourage your readers to join me on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3 by voting for Mary Ella Luft and Zack Hayden.
