Maintain the Excellence

Westbrook’s school system consumes more than 60 percent of our town’s annual budget. It is imperative that our teachers and administrators have all the resources they need to maintain the excellence of our school system. It is also important that our Board of Education (BOE) members understand that many of our residents simply cannot afford a significant tax increase.

As Westbrook’s Republican Town Committee chairman, it is my pleasure to recommend Lee Bridgewater and Donald Perreault for election to the BOE.

Lee Bridgewater has served on the BOE for 12 years in addition to her prior service on the Board of Finance. Both of her sons were educated in Westbrook.

Don Perreault is an award-winning teacher at Valley Regional High School with two children in the school system.

Both Lee and Don are Westbrook taxpayers, fully committed to working with Noel Bishop to ensure that our tax dollars are wisely used. I urge your readers to support their election to the Board of Education.
