Experience and Devotion to Town

Tuesday, Nov. 3 is our next opportunity to shape Essex’s future with our vote. With many important issues in front of us, it is critical that we elect a team of leaders that will ensure the future prosperity of our town. Bridge repairs, elementary school regionalization, and affordable housing projects are just a few of the issues that will have to be managed while preserving our town’s character and ensuring that the critical town services continue their history of excellence.

The town of Essex needs a team that will manage our resources, provide for the future, and actively work to reduce the tax burden on our residents and businesses. Every dollar of the town budget needs to be regularly reviewed and justified. A thriving business community needs to provide revenue and jobs. Town services need to be more convenient and accessible. The people of Essex should accept no less.

This year’s slate of candidates, fielded by the Essex Republican Town Committee, is a group of highly experienced community members who stand ready to guide our town forward. Their breadth of experience and devotion to the town is exemplary. I encourage all members of our community, regardless of political affiliation, to carefully consider these candidates and then head to the polls and let their voices be heard.
