During the 15 years we have known Zack, we have witnessed his care for community, love of children, giving personality, and diligent work ethic.

As a colleague at Oxford Academy, he has proven his abilities as both a caring educator and an articulate dean of faculty when offering his understanding of complex situations. As a school volunteer, he has shown his dynamism and creativity with children while giving up personal time. As a land trust member, he has hauled dirty trash out of public lands and organized camp outs. As a docent at Mystic Seaport, he engages visitors as he interprets history and holds forth with a hearty sea shanty.
