An Independent Voice

Although a lifelong Democrat, I am proud to support Bruce Wilson as selectman. These difficult times require someone who will be a tireless advocate for the nuts and bolts issues that need immediate attention including education, economic development, and the high costs of residing in Madison.

Knowing Bruce personally, I don’t express my support based on ideology or the extremes of either party, but in the knowledge that Bruce will be an independent voice of reason and a person more interested in results that the divisive politics that so often mark our political discourse. His background and experience as a small businessman, father, and school committee member gives him a knowledge base that will allow him to quickly get to work fixing problems.

Bruce is a natural leader whose first and only instinct is as he has stated on numerous occasions, to roll up his sleeves and get to work, finding solutions with Democrats, Republicans, or whoever is willing to move this town forward.

With an eye toward a bright future, I wholeheartedly endorse Bruce Wilson for the office of town selectman.
