A Participating Member

I never really pay much attention to local elections, but when I found out Phil Beckman was running for selectman, I knew without a doubt that he had my vote. Phil honestly cares about the town of Essex. During his military service with extended periods away, you would think that he would be selfish about his time when he got home. No, he continued to be a participating member of the community contributing to parades, being active at town meetings, and always providing a great perspective on issues at hand.

I encourage your readers to join me in voting Beckman for selectman.
