Practical, Effective, Fiscally Responsible

I’m writing to urge your readers to vote on Nov. 3 for Cathy Iino for Killingworth first selectman.

Things are going well in our town, thanks to the excellent Board of Selectmen that has been in office for the last four years. We have to make sure that team stays in place!

What I admire most about Cathy is that she is in touch with her constituents, day in and day out. She has made special efforts to reach out to everyone in town, by holding a weekly “Coffee with the First Selectwoman,” attending countless meetings of all the groups in Killingworth, and using old and new forms of communication to share information quickly and broadly. She listens and responds with an open mind to everyone—whatever their politics, age, or background.

Cathy works across party lines and thinks outside the box, because what she really wants is to build a strong community. And it’s working. Her leadership has made the Board of Selectmen into a practical, effective, fiscally responsible administration.

I hope your readers will join me in coming out to vote for Cathy, Lou Annino, Jr., and Fred Dudek on Nov. 3.
