Contributing to the Success

The Board of the Friends of the Essex Library would like to thank all who contributed to the success of its recent book sale. This exceptionally large sale required significant work by many volunteers, including those who worked during the event and those who sorted, repaired, priced, and stored books in preparation for the sale; helped set-up for the sale; and put everything away afterward. We are especially grateful to the Valley Regional National Honor Society students who assisted in our set-up and clean-up efforts—we thank Katie Amara, Hannah Halsey, Leslie Clapp, Emma Petersen, Colton Kinney, Kyra Streck, Alex Zambuni and John Tibbets. We also want to recognize the Zambuni family, which, for many years, has helped with set-up, take down, and moving overflow books to the storage shed throughout the year. We are grateful for their help. And, last, we thank the library staff for its support, with a special thank you to Anna Cierocki.

We would be remiss in not thanking those who contributed, and those who purchased, books, CDs and DVDs. Their support of the library is deeply appreciated.

From Nov. 23 to Dec. 23 we will be featuring a holiday sale at which sale items will change daily. I encourage your readers to stop in to browse for pristine books that are suitable for holiday gift giving.
