Just the Kind of Leader

I recently received word from one of my best friends that she was going to run for first selectman for the Republican Party of the Town of Chester. All I could think of was what a great match. Carolyn Linn is now seeking this position and I would like to ask you to get out and vote in November and support this race.

Carolyn and I met about 25 years ago while attending the United Church in Chester. Our friendship grew quickly, and over the years has seen us through all life’s events side by side. The support and encouragement I have received from this lady and the strength she imparts has always kept me moving forward and coming out on top. This is just the kind of leader that the Town of Chester needs.

Carolyn has a vision of working with the residents of Chester, encouraging new businesses to come to town, working with the boards of education for the betterment of our children, and solving the library location to include space for a community center for all ages of our town.

I encourage your readers to be on the lookout for Carolyn, she will be out and about in town at a variety of functions in an effort to say “Hello” and introduce herself to as many as possible. I know that your readers will find her captivating, smart, and savvy, and one who is always willing to work hard for her goals. Working for the Town of Chester and all of the people is in Carolyn’s future.

I encourage your readers to be sure to get out and vote in November, and think Linn/Englert!
