Working Hard to Help Those in Need

On behalf of the members of the Essex Lions Club, I’d like to thank all the community members who showed up to support our annual Lobster Bake. The funds raised at this event help us to donate to more than 40 local charities and organizations and allow us to provide help for those in need in our community.

The support we receive from our local merchants who donate raffle prizes, the teenagers and community members who help set-up and clean up, as well as the support from our neighboring Lions is amazing.

Thanks go to everyone who came to have an enjoyable evening filled with good food and entertaining music. Thanks go to my fellow Lions Club members who work hard to help those in need. I am proud to be a Lion and a part of our wonderful community.

Our club meets the first and third Monday of the month 7 p.m. at The Ivoryton Tavern and we are always looking for new members.
