Cannot Think of a Better Person

I was so happy to see the announcement in the paper that Tom Banisch is running for first selectman. Tom has been very involved in the fabric of our town for years, and I cannot think of a better person to take over the stewardship of Madison.

Everyone knows about his involvement with the youth in town, from Little League and youth football to soccer and the Tiger Athletics Council at Daniel Hand. But as he moved on, he got involved in other aspects of the life of the town: Charter Revision, Beach & Rec, the Rotary Club, and the Chamber of Commerce where he has helped make Madison the place it is.

I have known Tom for almost 10 years and I think one of the best things about him being first selectman will be his positive attitude and his dedication. Whenever you see him, he’s always smiling and offering to lend a hand, and I have to believe that attitude will help bring people together to work hard to see our town through the hard times ahead for the state of Connecticut.

I invite everyone to join me in keeping Madison a wonderful town and vote for Tom Banisch.
