Dedication, Creativity, and Commitment

April is National Volunteer month and I want to say (once again) “Thank you” to all of the wonderful men and woman who volunteer at the Westbrook Senior Center. The center has more than 30 volunteers who give their time to our wonderful facility every day. This year, we welcomed a therapy dog named Gus and his handler Janis, and Susan Scott from Westbrook Youth & Family Services and “Seniors and Seconds,” an intergenerational program with Cathy Dowler’s 2nd grade class from Daisy Ingraham Elementary School.

Our team of volunteers puts in more than 40 hours of hard work each week, and without their dedication, creativity, and commitment, the Westbrook Senior Center would not be the special place that it is.
