Thanks for a Successful Plunge

Westbrook Project Graduation held its second annual Polar Plunge fundraiser on Feb. 1. Despite the snow and frigid temperatures, our small group of 15 plungers braved the elements and successfully supported our fundraising efforts for Westbrook High School's graduating class.

Without the help and generosity of our community, this fundraiser would not have been possible. I would like to thank the Westbrook Elks Lodge for donating the use of its facility and lending guidance when needed, the Westbrook Fire Department and Westbrook Ambulance Association for their active participation in ensuring that we had a safe event, all of the community members who sponsored our freezing participants, and the hard-working group of senior parents who make up Westbrook Project Graduation 2015.

We are very fortunate that we live in a community that cares about the safety and wellbeing of our students. Again, thanks go to all who helped make this event a success!
