Bringing Our Community Together

It was with great pride that the Essex Community Fund created this year's Essex Ed costume for the annual Groundhog Day Parade-a salute to the historic 2014 State Champion Valley-Lyme/Old Lyme football team.

Thanks go to the athletes, coaches, and parents who marched with Essex Ed and welcomed him to the team. It was a labor of love for board members to create Ed's costume, and we appreciated being selected to do so by the Essex Board of Trade.

Join us next for balloons at the Essex Go Braugh parade for another event bringing our community together.
