Making Killingworth a Brighter Place

The Killingworth Lights Spectacular was a huge success! More than 800 people attended and more than $1,100 was raised for the Killingworth Library. Also more than 100 toys were donated to the H-K Youth & Family Services, and a trunk filled with canned goods was collected for Killingworth Helping Hands.

The Killingworth Women's Organization would like to thank all who attended and supported this wonderful community event over the years. This year special thanks go out to Rick Albrecht and Pat Fitzgibbons for dressing in the red suit. Thanks go to the community businesses that supported the event, including Cozy Corner Bake Shoppe, Killingworth True Value, and Wilson, Pinder & Snow Law. Thanks go to State Trooper Tim Kendrick, who provided safe road crossing for all. The Cub Scout Pack 18 came and enthusiastically handed out delicious popcorn.

It was fabulous to have live music this year, and Mrs. Tazzo and her 8th-grade Holiday Band were a delight.

A special thanks go to the Gorski family as, without its decorations, hard work, and holiday spirit, this event would never happen! We thank them for their years of making Killingworth a brighter place during the holidays!
