Bruce is a proven business leader with more than 20 years experience of manufacturing medical products in Connecticut where he employed local people. He grew the business during the recession and added Connecticut jobs. He understands from firsthand experience the needs of Connecticut employees and employers.
Bruce's business has a long history of providing fulfilling work opportunities to organizations such as SARAH and Easter Seals-work that paid wages and provided meaningful experiences for an under-served community.
Bruce is passionate about protecting the rights of parents, teachers, and administrators to keep control of local public schools, and to that end, he will fight to make implementation of Common Core State Standards a local decision, with parent and educator input. Bruce's experience on the Madison Board of Education will help us in Hartford.
Bruce has proven leadership right here in the 12th District. He has experience as an employer, an employee, a taxpayer, and a family man. As the first person in his family to graduate from college, Bruce serves as an example of someone who worked hard, found success here in Connecticut, and now wants to give back to our community.
