People, Not Politics

We write to support Tom Virgulto as a candidate for probate judge in the Madison-Guilford District. Those who know Tom know him as someone who is uniquely qualified for the position of probate judge through both his professional and personal life.

Tom is an attorney who has been licensed to practice in all of Connecticut's state and federal courts and has tried cases before probate and superior court judges and juries. Tom keeps his practice in the community that he is involved in and represents many residents of Madison and Guilford. A probate judge needs to be able to resolve disputes between those who come to him, and Tom has received advanced training in both mediation and dispute resolution. Tom's office is blocks away from the courthouse, and he will be there, as he has for years, to serve the citizens of Guilford and Madison.

Tom has been involved in coaching our daughters in youth sports for many years, and we have seen firsthand how he deals with people. From kids, to parents, to opponents, Tom carries himself as a man of integrity and fairness and always with a positive attitude. With all of the things he is involved in in the community, from serving on multiple youth athletic boards, being a member of the ABC House board, and now running for judge of probate, Tom is a prime example of the best that our community has to offer.

Tom is running as an unaffiliated candidate, and his campaign is about people, not politics. We will voting for Tom on Nov. 4 and would encourage your readers to do the same.
