09/24/2014 12:00 AMAs someone who has known Probate Judge Terrance Lomme professionally when I worked in Essex as Social Services coordinator, I welcome this opportunity to support him for re-election this November.
His long-time experience as a probate judge and success in ushering in the consolidated, nine-town probate district certainly make him the obvious choice, but it is his personality and professionalism that really make a difference. Dealing with probate issues can be very traumatic to individuals and families-especially the elderly and children. Judge Lomme's attentive, empathetic, reassuring character makes him perfect for the job.
To cover the needs of nine towns requires a strong support system. Judge Lomme has an excellent staff with which he works well, something worth continuing.
He will have my vote in November. I encourage others to support him as well.
