Great Help for Friends

On Sept. 30 the Friends of Chester Public Library held its drawing for the winning raffle ticket for the quilt made by Sally Murray (the recent subject of Rita Christopher's Person of the Week column). The winning ticket was held by Lynne Jacques, well known to many as the selectman's assistant at Chester Town Hall. Every one of our 750 tickets was sold, and the Friends group thanks all those who purchased tickets.

Special thanks go to top ticket sellers Lori Ann Clymas, Terry Schreiber, and Marieanne Heft. And, of course, a very big thank you goes to Sally Murray for her beautiful quilt donation. We are grateful to all for their support of the Friends of Chester Public Library.
