A Sad Day

We were enjoying a day at the beach when we saw a seagull struggling to get free from what looked like a fish line, possibly a hook in his mouth. We tried for almost an hour to help him, but we couldn't get close. We left very sad and before we left we alerted the yacht club nearby. We hoped its members could help the little guy, and they said they would try.

How sadly our day ended. Please alert all your readers to this preventable practice. I encourage your readers to take with them all their fishing gear and let us all be more careful in what we throw into the water. Our lives are enhanced because we have God's creations to enjoy. Let them have a safe feeding area.
