Continued Generosity

Recently the Northford Women's Club, GFWC, held its annual Dutch Auction at Stanley T. Williams School. Taking place that evening was a live auction, tea cup, and door prize raffles. Auction items included hand-crafts, needlepoint, stained glass, jewelry, baked goods, household items, gift baskets, gift certificates, and services from local merchants. This event was a huge success and could not have taken place without the continued generosity of many individuals and businesses in the Northford, North Branford, North Haven, Guilford, and Branford communities. The membership of the Northford Women's club extends its deepest thanks to the following:

Agway of North Branford, Another Look Home Furnishings, Aquatic Pool, Arnold's Jewelers, Bobby's Apizza, Carol's Creations, Chinese Kempo Academy, Country Paint & Hardware, Creative Hair Studio, Debra Hagewood, Dr. Brian Lynch, Dr. Joseph Connolly, Giovanni's Restaurant, Golden Shears, Greg Tech, Hair Dimensions, Heins Sight Optical, Jay & Lucy's Deli, Lou Designs, Lucky's Chinese Restaurant, Milani's Bakery, Natalie Martone of Florida, Natureworks, Northford Store, Northford Veterinary Clinic, Pastry Fusions, Patricia Raccio, Petals 2 Go, Simmy's Haircutters, Suburban Oil, Supreme Seafood, TD Bank, Village Wine and Spirits, and Vogue Nail Spa.

Proceeds from the auction are used to support various charitable projects within our local community. Some of the past organizations that have benefited from these projects include the Connecticut Food Bank, Say Yes to Education, the Branford Animal Shelter, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Homes for the Brave, and many families receiving food baskets at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Without the continued generosity of the businesses and individuals previously mentioned, many of these charitable and worthwhile initiatives would not be able to take place.
