Puts People First

I believe returning State Senator Ed Meyer to Hartford is very important in order continue economic growth in our state and in our region. The job incentives co-sponsored by Senator Meyer have produced about 800 new jobs so far this year and preserved another 1,500 jobs. He continuously works across the aisle to get the job done.

Senator Meyer has worked hard to help get funding for various projects in North Branford. For example: a $350,000 grant to relocate Wall Field due to realignment of Route 80, $200,000 for design and renovations to elementary school for use as a community and senior citizens center, and $500,000 for the libraries.

Mr. Meyer has proven himself to be an independent thinker; he voted against Governor Malloy's tax increase, one of the few Democratic legislators to do so.

Ed Meyer is the kind of person who fights for what's right for the people of our state; he has devoted his life to public service. He cares deeply about the issues, listens to his constituents, and puts people first.
