Sincere Thanks

Some months ago this year, our family lost a son, Matthew Edward Urban, in a car accident. Our grief cannot be measured or genuinely shared as it tends to be only with those who were and are family, but the Urban family would like to thank all those, and there were so many, who attended his wake and funeral Mass in a sign of repect for him and us.

His life touched far more than we knew. From graduating from Valley Regional schools to the many years he worked in grocery stores in Centerbrook and Clinton and shoreline Blockbuster stores, he became a recognized face in the crowd. And myself working in Chester and my wife teaching in Guilford for many years, his name was mentioned often. Our family has been native to this area for many years and our friends and neighbors come from the many towns such as Chester, Deep River, Essex, Old Saybrook, Westbrook, Clinton, Madison, and Guilford. There were many more than we could have anticipated. There were so many we couldn't possibly respond to each on a personal level as we would like to have.

So, for all who read this and were kind enough to be with us in our hour of sadness, we want them to place their names at the opening salutation and know it is meant for them. We know this letter may be late, but it is as sincere as if written at the time of the ceremonies.
