A Big Thank You

The Deep River Parks & Recreation Commission would like to thank all who helped make our recently held fourth annual Deep River Carnival such a huge success. The carnival is held as a fundraiser with the funds going to purchase a new playscape at Devitt Field, a favorite local park located on Main Street in Deep River. Without the help from local groups, individuals, and talented musicians and dancers, it would not be possible to put on an event of this magnitude. Also, most important, a big thank you goes to all who came out to support our four-day event. It was beautiful weather and all who attended had a great time. The commission would like to thank the following musicians: The Meadows Bros. Band, The Dizzy River Band, Meredith Whaley, Ryan Hartt, and Eric Ducoff; Irish Step Dancers: Dakota Dione, Jordan Adams Sack, Jennifer Roberts, Nicole Grief, and Sarah Flynn; ticket sellers: Leslie Rayner, Karen Dexter, Lucy Sousa, Douglas Whitaker, Amy Petrone, Whitney Woodcock, and Andrew Fogell; equipment team: Olsen Sanitation, Deep River Fire Department (for donating the tables and chairs), Deep River constables, and Deep River Resident State Trooper Chris Cope.

Again, on behalf of the Deep River Parks & Recreation Commission, we thank all for supporting our annual carnival event.
