This is Allowed?


I recently went to a public hearing of the Planning & Zoning Commission (PZC). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to speak, as it was closed nine minutes after it started. The proposal was to put a separate garage and artist's studio with its own septic on a lot that already has a house, and according to the minutes of the meeting, this is allowed in Deep River.

I have an existing mobile home on my property (a former separate lot) and was told I can't occupy it or subdivide the 5.5-acre property-one house per lot. I guess this will open the door for anyone who wants to do the same?

Thanks again to our PZC official and her [associates]. Again, the fight continues-court battles and a waste of tax dollars.
