Help NBHS Project Graduation 2012

For many years, North Branford, along with communities across Connecticut and throughout the nation, has supported an event commonly known as Project Graduation.

Project Graduation is a chaperoned event conducted to provide graduating high school seniors with a fun-filled, all-night party while maintaining a safe and substance-free environment. Project Graduation is held on the night of high school graduation and features music, games, food, entertainment, raffles, gifts, and much more.

In order to put together a program of this magnitude, it takes hundreds of volunteer hours and support. I ask that residents please consider making a donation toward this worthwhile event. This support will not only allow residents to send a message of congratulations, but it will also show their support of high school graduates having fun in a safe and substance-free environment. The support and generosity of residents plays a key role in providing this event for our 161 graduating seniors and we couldn't do it without them!

Past donations have included monetary donations, services, and food as well as gifts and prizes for the students. Whether it be smaller gifts for the 161 students; individual gift bag items such as pens, hats, T-shirts, or cosmetics; or larger raffle and bingo prizes such as gift cards, fans, lights, or surge protectors for their dorms, any and all donations are very much welcomed and most appreciated.

Please forward donations to Project Graduation 2012, c/o North Branford High School, 49 Caputo Rd., North Branford, CT 06471. Please make all checks payable to Project Graduation 2012. If anyone needs their donation picked up, they may contact Jen Mirto at 203-530-0416 or jen22066@aol.com or Lori Montalto at 203-623-8715 or lmontalt02012@aol.com.
