11/27/2011 11:00 PMYour Nov. 11 article "A New Look at the Deep River Green" reported that the Committee for the Improvement of the Veterans Memorial Green received $10,000 in contributions. The actual amount was more than $60,000. The Estate of E. Talcott Scoville generously gave $52,000. Mr. Scoville was a World War II veteran and a longtime resident of Deep River. More than 70 community members contributed nearly another $10,000.
