Caring and Generous Spirit

Thanks to the generosity of the Deep River community, the "Help Stamp Out Hunger" food drive was a tremendous success. The amount of food collected was amazing and will have a long and lasting impact for many months to come.

Special thanks go to Barbara and Monica Vandehei and Mackenzie Holdmeyer for all the hauling, sorting, and stacking and a very special thank you goes to the Post Office and hardworking letter carriers who voluntarily collect the food each year. Your reader' contributions truly reflect the town's caring and generous spirit.
