Changes in Letters to the Editor Policy

Due to the traditional rise in letters submissions during election season, the Harbor News will extend the time period between accepting letters for publication from two weeks to four weeks for each author in order to assure we have space to print all letters that otherwise fit our guidelines. This policy goes into effect starting with letters submitted after the

Sept. 23 deadline for Sept. 30 publication.
