A Monumental Task

With a recent mandate with a change to our probate court system, we will be going to the polls this coming November seeking a probate judge who will effectively serve District 33, representing the towns of Lyme, Haddam, Essex, Old Saybrook, Westbrook, Clinton, Killingworth, Chester, and Deep River. This is a monumental task that will not allow for on-the-job training. The position of the judge of probate requires experience, dedication, and a thorough knowledge of the probate court system.

Judge Raymond Rigat, with 12 years of experience as the judge of probate for the Town of Clinton, is the only individual who holds the credentials that will begin service on day one. Additionally, Judge Rigat has served his country as a Naval Military JAG and has maintained a private practice in Clinton for close to 20 years. Now more than ever we need our tax dollars working for us and need to elect a person such as Judge Rigat who will administer the duties of the judge of probate with fairness, dedication, and experience.
