Summer Yoga at Lavender Pond Farm was moved to Sunday morning at 9am  due to the rainy forecast for Saturday. The yoga class had around 65 people attending spread out through the lavender gardens, and was lead by Amy Hewitt. The next yoga class is scheduled for July 25, August 8th and August 22nd.

Congrats, H-K Senior Athletes

A Wine, Chocolate, and Paint Night was held at The Congregational Church in Killingworth on Saturday, February 15, 2020 to benefit the Preservation 2020 fundraising campaign. It is currently raising money to restore the most significant landmark in town which is the 200 year old church. The interior dome, exterior, bell, clock, carillon, and much else are in need of repairs. They have raised $190,000 so far with a goal of $404,000 by the churchþÄôs 200th anniversary on May 31, 2020. Country Package and Votto Vines brought wine samples to the event, owner of Cindy Stevens Fine Art, Cindy Stevens helped guests paint on wine glasses and vases, and there were desserts and more. Families and friends took part in the 7th Annual Pumpkin Carving Party at Parmelee Farm on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Pumpkins were provided to be carved, displayed at the farm, and then lit up in the evenings leading to Halloween. Face painting and refreshments were available, as well. Haddam-Killingworth Football Loses Contest to North Branford

The Parmelee Farm in Killingworth held an Artisan Market  Saturday, Sept. 7. The market featured more than 80 artisans and crafters with pottery, soaps, art, woodworking, fiber arts, jams and jellies, fresh vegetables, flowers, cookies and candy, and more. The Fairies of Glen Wood made a  visit for story time with the children, and the maple sugar house was open for tours. 

Fairies Autumn Bittersweet  (Jennifer MacPherson) and Queen Bee (Raven Klausen) hold storytime for a group of young fariies.

The Parmelee Farm in Killingworth hosted the A Place Called Hope Nature Fest Saturday July 13th. The free festival celebrated our planet, health and healing, art, rescue and conservation and animals.

Bret Haughwout shows the claws of  Mr. Binx, CTþÄôs Educational Lynx. The cat is an one-year-old  Eurasian Lynx weghing about 45 pounds.
