06/19/2022 12:00 AMJunior Katelin Brady competed on behalf of the Old Saybrook girls’ outdoor track team at the CIAC Hepathlon last week. The event took place at Willow Brook in New Britain on June 14 and 15.
Brady finished in 39th place for the CIAC Heptathlon by scoring 1,377 points between four events on the first day of the competition. Brady’s best performance came in the high jump, where she took 14th place by clearing the bar at 4 feet-6.25 inches.
Brady finished 39th in the 100 hurdles with a time of 20.55 seconds at the CIAC Heptathlon. Brady also finished 45th in the shot put with a throw of 19 feet-0.5 inches and placed 48th for the 200-meter dash by crossing the finish line in 31.72 seconds.
