Valley Regional Holds College Signing Day


A group of 11 Valley Regional senior student-athletes recently attended a college signing day at the high school. The Valley Regional High School athletic program hosted college athlete signing day event on May 12. The Valley Class of 2022 features 11 seniors who will continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level next year.

The student-athletes who attended the signing ceremony included Emi Bisson, who will play lacrosse at Mount Holyoke College after she graduates from Valley; Tucker Burr, who will play soccer at Colorado College; Chase Conrad, who will compete for the track and field team at Bates College; Zach Kirla, who will row crew at Marietta College; Connor Lunz, who will play football at Sacred Heart University; James Marsden, who will play football and baseball at Wesleyan University.

Alexis Massey, who will compete for the crew program at Franklin Pierce University, was among the Warriors’ athletes who attended the signing event. The other soon-to-be graduates in attendance were Kenzie Mulé, who will play softball at Bay Path University; Andrew Salbinski, who will compete for the baseball squad at Utica College; Cooper Strecker, who will play lacrosse at Albertus Magnus College; and Sophia Surber, who will continue her soccer career at Union College.
