North Haven Athletes Attend Letter of Intent Ceremony

Five North Haven High School student-athletes officially committed to compete in athletics beyond high school when they took part in a recent National Letter of Intent ceremony. The event was held at the high school on Nov. 10.

The student-athletes who participated in the Letter of Intent ceremony were Michael Anquillare, Umi El Mammann, Derek Novicki, Shea Saracino, and Ally Vollero. Anquillare is playing baseball at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York; El Mammann will compete in gymnastics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island; and Novicki is going to play for the baseball team at Keuka College in Keuka Park, New York. Saracino is playing lacrosse at Campbell University in Blues Creek, North Carolina; and Vollero will compete for the women’s tennis team at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.
