11/06/2021 12:00 AMThe Westbrook-Old Lyme field hockey team played Valley Regional in the semifinals of the Shoreline Conference Tournament last week. The Knights took a loss to Valley Regional in the game and finished their season with an overall record of 4-13.
On Nov. 1, the 4th-seeded Knights traveled to Deep River to face top-seeded Valley Regional for a Shoreline semifinal matchup. Westbrook-Old Lyme took a 9-0 defeat against the Warriors in its final game of the season. Valley went on to drop a 2-1 decision to North Branford in the Shoreline championship game.
