10/31/2021 12:00 AMThe Westbrook-Old Lyme (W-OL) field hockey team completed its regular season by a home game against Canton last week. The Knights took a 3-0 loss against Canton at Westbrook High School to finish with a record of 4-12 for the regular season.
W-OL is the No. 4 seed in the Shoreline Conference Tournament and played a quarterfinal game at No. 1 Valley Regional on Nov. 1 (after press time). With a win, the Knights would face the winner of No. 2 North Branford and No. 3 Old Saybrook for the title on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Indian River Complex in Clinton.
