Then on Oct. 1, the Huskies had a home game against Old Saybrook and notched a 1-0 win over the Rams. Sophomore Glenda Zhiminaicela scored the lone goal of the day on an assist by freshman Rachel Spaziano in the 50th minute to lift Morgan to the victory. Comiskey made four saves to get the shutout for the Huskies.

Morgan started off the week by recording a 1-0 shutout over Portland in a road game on Sept. 27. Junior Matt Lopez scored on a penalty kick for Morgan during the first half. Fellow junior Erik Barrera made a play to earn the PK that was taken by Lopez.

Three days later, the Huskies were on the road to face an undefeated Old Saybrook team and battled the Rams to a 1-1 draw. Old Saybrook took a 1-0 lead over Morgan by scoring the first goal of the game in the 23rd minute. About 12 minutes later, senior Alex Gallardo found the back of the net for Morgan to even the score at 1-1. With five minutes left in the game, senior goalie Bailey Goss stopped an Old Saybrook penalty shot to preserve the stalemate.
