CT Warriors Win One of Three on the Week

The CT Warriors 19-U AAU baseball squad was victorious in one of its three contests last week and is now 6-7 overall for the summer season. The Warriors defeated Guilford in their first game of the week and then lost both games of a doubleheader against the Winsted Copperheads.

On July 27, the CT Warriors earned an 8-5 win versus Guilford at Guilford High School. Then on July 31, the Warriors hosted the Winsted Copperheads for a doubleheader at Guilford High School and dropped both ends of the set. The Warriors took a 5-4 loss in the first game and then lost the second contest by the final score of 8-6.

The Warriors will finish their regular season by playing three games this week, including a home doubleheader against City Angels Baseball Academy in their finale on Sunday, Aug. 8.
