Branford Senior Legion Takes Losses in Final Zone 2 Contests

The Branford Senior American Legion 19-U baseball team played three Zone 2 games during the last week of its regular season. Post 83 took two defeats to Madison and a loss against Orange to finish with a record of 5-15 in Zone 2 play this summer.

On July 18, Post 83 hosted Madison and lost the game by an 8-2 score at Branford High School. The next day, Branford was on the road to face Madison and took a 10-1 loss at Town Campus Field. Then on July 21, Post 83 played Orange at Branford High School and took a 6-3 defeat in the game.

Two days later, Branford hit the road to face Bristol for a non-zone matchup. Post 83 defeated Bristol by the final score of 8-1 at Muzzy Field.
