Huskies Drop Both Ends of Doubleheader with the Copperheads

The Clinton Huskies 17-U AAU East Shore Baseball team saw four games get washed away with the rain the past two weeks, but got back on the field for a pair last week. The Huskies took defeats in both ends of a doubleheader against the Torrington Copperheads on July 11. With the losses, the Huskies’ record fell to 4-4.

The Huskies hosted the Copperheads at The Morgan School for a July 11 doubleheader and took a 10-2 loss in the first game. In the nightcap, Clinton played a closer contest, but still ultimately lost the game by an 8-5 score.
