North Haven Boys’ Track Sees Three Athletes Compete at State Open

The North Haven boys’ outdoor track team was represented by three athletes when the State Open Championship took place at Willow Brook Park on June 10. North Haven picked up two points and finished in a tie for 54th place in the standings at the State Open.

Senior Torray Armfield scored both of North Haven’s points at the State Open by taking seventh place in the long jump. Armfield recorded a distance of 20 feet-10.5 inches to place seventh in the event and score two points for North Haven.

Junior Cole DeCusati competed in the discus for North Haven at the Open. DeCusati finished in 12th place by recording a throw of 128 feet-2 inches. Sophomore Ethan Anderson competed in the shot put and finished in 22nd place with a distance of 39 feet-3.75 inches.
