East Haven Baseball Takes a Few Defeats

The East Haven U-19 baseball team took a few defeats on the diamond last week and now has a record of 6-8 this year. East Haven scratched out a 3-1 win versus Milford on July 22, but took two losses to West Haven, two defeats against Wallingford, and also dropped a contest to Milford in its recent matchups.

East Haven lost both ends of a home doubleheader with West Haven on July 19. East Haven took a 13-1 defeat in the first game and lost by a 9-1 score in the nightcap.

The next day, East Haven played a road game versus Wallingford and dropped a 2-1 decision at Pat Wall Field. Then on July 21, East Haven took a 9-2 home loss to Wallingford.

East Haven bounced back by claiming a 3-1 road victory over Milford at Foran High School on July 22. The day after that, East Haven hosted Milford and lost the game by a 9-4 final.
