Seahawks Notch 14-6 Victory Versus Wallingford


The Guilford Seahawks girls’ lacrosse team continued its winning ways in the early goings of Dream League play last week. After posting victories in its first two contests, Guilford defeated Wallingford by the final score of 14-6 in a North Division road game on July 16. Head Coach Wendy Epke’s club is now sporting an overall record of 3-0 and is 1-0 in the division.

Maddie Epke scored four goals and won 18 of her 19 draw controls to help Guilford earn its win versus Wallingford. Captain Catherine Larrow scored three goals for the Seahawks in the victory.

Captain Hannah Tillier, Ella Clarke, and MJ Santa Barbara netted two goals apiece for Guilford. Miya Imaeda chipped in with a goal, while Santa Barbara collected three ground balls in the winning effort. Goalkeeper Sydney Widlitz made five saves in net.
