Madison U-19 Baseball Keeps Winning; U-17 Team Gets a Split

U-19 Baseball

The Madison U-19 baseball team picked up four more victories in Connecticut Elite Baseball Association (CEBA) action last week. Madison boosted its record to 7-0 and maintained its spot atop the Division II standings after earning two wins versus North Haven and a pair of victories over East Haven.

Madison started off its recent stretch by posting a 7-0 home win against North Haven at Town Campus Field on July 11. The following day, Madison was on the road to face North Haven and prevailed by a 5-1 final at Bailey Road Field.

On July 14, Madison hosted East Haven and recorded a 10-0 shutout. The day after that, Madison traveled to East Haven for the second game of the set and came home with a 1-0 victory.

U-17 Baseball

Madison’s U-17 baseball team split a pair of recent CEBA Division II matchups. The team now has a record of 2-4 on the campaign.

Madison hit the road for a game against North Haven on July 14. Madison was edged out by North Haven by a 2-1 score at Bailey Road Field.

Then on July 16, Madison played a road game against Branford. Madison posted a 3-0 shutout over Branford to record its second win of the summer.
