The East Haven U-19 baseball team claimed victory in three of five games in the Connecticut Elite Baseball Association last week. East Haven swept a doubleheader with New Haven, earned a convincing victory against North Haven, and then took two losses to Madison in recent action. With these results, Head Coach Kevin Sabin’s club moved to 5-3 on the year.

East Haven started off its recent stretch by sweeping a home doubleheader versus New Haven on July 12. East Haven notched an 8-2 win in the first game and then prevailed by a 15-4 final in the nightcap.

The following day, East Haven played a road game with North Haven and earned an 8-2 win at DeMayo Ballfield.

On July 14, East Haven was back on the road to face Madison and took a 10-0 loss at Town Campus Field. East Haven then hosted Madison the next day and was edged out by a 1-0 score.
