Carey to Row Crew at Delaware


Valley senior Emma Carey signed on the line to row crew at the University of Delaware. Valley Regional senior Emma Carey recently signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the crew program at the University of Delaware. Carey has been rowing from a young age and is a two-year captain for the Valley Regional crew. She’s also rowed at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta as a member of the Blood Street Sculls crew.

Carey signed her letter at a ceremony that was attended by her parents, Bridge Quinn Carey and James Carey, as well as Valley Regional Principal Michael Barile, Associate Principal Carolyn Gbunblee, Athletic Director Jeff Swan, Valley crew Head Coach John Laundon, and Blood Street Sculls crew coach Paul Fuchs.
