Guilford Girls’ Hockey Takes Loss in First Game

The Guilford girls' ice hockey team opened up a new season by playing a road game against Suffield-Ellington-Enfield-Granby-Canton-Windsor-Northwestern last week. The Indians took a 3-1 defeat in the game at Enfield Twin Rinks on Dec. 13.

Freshman Kimberly Evans scored Guilford's lone goal of the game on an assist from sophomore Daniella Vickerman. Sophomore goalie Julia McDonald made 15 saves in net for Head Coach Rich Binkowski's squad.
