11/10/2019 11:00 PMThe Westbrook boys’ soccer team begins play in the Class S State Tournament this week. The Knights enter the tournament as the No. 28 seed and played a first-round match comes against No. 5 seed Old Saybrook on Nov. 11 (after press time). With a win in that contest, Westbrook would move on to the second round and face the winner between No. 12 seed Wheeler and No. 21 seed Coventry on Nov. 13 (press time). As for the rest of the tournament, the quarterfinals will take place on Friday Nov. 15; the semifinals are slated for either Monday, Nov. 18 or Tuesday Nov. 19; and the final is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23. The Knights qualified for the tourney with a regular-season record of 6-9-1.
